How Did Computer Helper For Boomers And Seniors Come Into Being?

The Wall Street Journal quoted me about tech pet peeves in their March 17, 2015 paper.

"Unnecessary complexity: Most software programs and devices are built in a sort of nuclear-arms race of features by engineers and business people who seem to have no idea normal people only use 10% of the functions."

My own field of Marketing and Sales was heavily impacted by the Internet and forced me to learn these new forms of communication, so I went back and studied Digital Media at NYU and got Google Advanced Search Certified.

Having run training programs at Strategic Training and as an Assistant Professor at Pericles International for several years, I am able to easily connect with people. Then, friends started asking me questions about using the Internet, Skype, their iPad or if I was on LinkedIn, Facebook or if I liked my smartphone.

In the course of these conversations,  many executives, boomers and seniors have expressed their frustrations and fears about being on the wrong side of the digital divide.
